The Klaus GTLD Carbon Wing Element is a lower-drag, high downforce wing element designed for applications where maximum efficiency is critical. With a 13.25 inch low camber profile, this profile is recommended for medium to high horsepower GT cars (300-500+ hp) with moderate tire contact patch sizes and high spring rates. 

Standard length is 72 inches with mounting tabs placed 24 inches on-center. Select your mounting tab style and finish via the drop-down menu. Raw finish is sent with a scuffed and waxed clear, UV blocking polyester primer top coat to protect the carbon fibers and epoxy from sun damage. Custom, finishes, mounting tab spacing, and overall lengths up to 76 inches available. Contact us to further customize your wing element. 

Construction Outline

  • 2x2 twill woven intermediate modulus carbon fiber pre-impregnated with epoxy resin vacuum bagged and oven cured
  • Internal longitudinal carbon fiber spar for maximum strength
  • Bonded-in-place carbon fiber wing tabs included.  

CFD data gathered in simulated free-stream, 100 mph airflow with a 72 inch long wing element. Actual performance may vary depending on airfoil length and mounting conditions.
