The Klaus GTMAX Carbon Wing Element was designed for applications requiring high downforce and efficiency out of a single element wing. This CFD optimized airfoil profile has a 13.25 inch chord and is recommended for high horsepower GT cars (400+ hp) with large tire contact patches and high spring rates. 

Standard length is 72 inches with mounting tabs placed 24 inches on-center. Select your mounting tab style and finish via the drop-down menu. Raw finish is sent with a scuffed and waxed clear, UV blocking polyester primer top coat to protect the carbon fibers and epoxy from sun damage. Custom mounting tab spacing and overall lengths up to 80 inches available. Contact us to further customize your wing element. 

Construction Outline

  • 2x2 twill woven intermediate modulus carbon fiber pre-impregnated with epoxy resin vacuum bagged and oven cured
  • Internal longitudinal carbon fiber spar for maximum strength
  • Bonded-in-place carbon fiber wing tabs included.  
  • 1/2" gurney strip included.

CFD data gathered in simulated free-stream, 100 mph airflow with a 72 inch long wing element. Actual performance may vary depending on airfoil length and mounting conditions.

Wing upright stands are sold separately. Please inquire regarding custom applications for vehicles we have not yet developed bolt-on kits for.
