Sharing similar profile geometry to our popular GTMAX wing element, the GTMD was developed to conform to various sanctioning bodies' regulations requiring a smaller chord length, offering a choice between an 11 and 12 inch chord.
Standard length is 72 inches with mounting tabs placed 24 inches on-center. Select your mounting tab style and finish via the drop-down menu. Raw finish is sent with a scuffed and waxed clear, UV blocking polyester primer top coat to protect the carbon fibers and epoxy from sun damage. Custom, finishes, mounting tab spacing, and overall lengths up to 84 inches available. Contact us to further customize your wing element.
Construction Outline
- 2x2 twill woven intermediate modulus carbon fiber pre-impregnated with epoxy resin vacuum bagged and oven cured
- Internal longitudinal foam cored carbon fiber spar for maximum strength
- Choice of 11 or 12 inch chord. Contact us and consult your sanctioning body's rule book for proper sizing.
- Bonded-in-place carbon fiber wing tabs included.
- 3/8" gurney strip included.
